Aims of M.M.O.C

To...

• Reach the unreached in Mozambique.
• Mobilise churches, organisations and individuals to become financial and prayer partners to the chuch in Mozambique.
• Create mission awareness in Mozambique.
• Establish a training center in Mozambique to raise the standard of spiritual leaders and brind about good church government.
• Provide an established base centre from which missionaries and other workers can work.
• Act as a communications center.
• To adopt unreached people groups.
• Establish satellite Bible Colleges.
• To operate a primary health, day care and life skills clinic.

Location of M.M.O.C.

After several mission outreaches into Mozambique, Beira was chosen as location for the centre for the following reasons:

1. It is central to Mozambique and allows easy access to most provinces.
2. There is a reasonable infrastructure remaining after the civil war.
3. Facilities such as banking and communications are available.
4. Roadways to and from Beira, especially via Zimbabwe are reasonable and are at present being up-graded. Access via sea is also good.
5. The surrounding area is fertile and lends itself to small holding farming to help support the center.
6. F.R.O.M has been registered with the government.
7. Premises have been obtained and venues for bible colleges are already in use.

Financial Implication

Total monthly budget required is:

South African Administration R 950.00 (US$ 205.00)

Mozambique Project running costs R4 000.00 (US$ 860.00)

Above costs are for the running of the centre. We are budgeting a further once off cost R10 000(US$ 2 200.00) for the purchase of premises of our own. This will allow us to modify the building to our needs.

How can you get involved in M.M.O.C Join as a Key partner Church/Organization. Make a financial contribution. Participate in building work groups. Enlist as a prayer partner. Provide training materials. Participate in actual training. Provide office/ training equipment and furniture. Sponsor a bible student.
